I love walking tours. Readers have known for a long time that I always recommend to do the first thing when you are in a city. It does not matter the type you do. Food, history, art – whatever it is! Just do something. It is a great way to know a destination, get your lawyers, and talk to a local about life in the city. I have been walking tours since my first back trip in 2006 when I joined the free walk in the youth house around Prague. I was a drug addict, and over the years, I took hundreds of hundreds of tours run by dozens of tens of companies. There are a lot of tourist companies walking there, but one of the favorites is Contemporary travel.
The context was established in 2003 and I used it and recommended it since 2010 when it stumbled for the first time in one of their tours in Rome. I walked with an art historian about the Vatican, where I only learned about the Vatican himself, but the stories behind art. Since then, I have made endless tours with them.
What always distinguishes the context is that instead of using ordinary people trained as evidence, they use experts (those who get a doctorate or doctorate!) In their fields of your leadership. Pictures of people and direct documents that really helped him draw the image of life and resistance in WW2 Paris. I moved away from and felt that I learned a lot.
For this reason, I travel the context. You can really get accurate details, facts and deep diving. There are a lot of tourist walking companies there – and I recommend a wide range – but the context has always emerged for the quality of tours leaders. You do not get a coach guide in the text program, but someone has a deep knowledge of the topic. One of my favorite rounds was walking on the famous 42 Street in New York City with a award -winning architect. From architects to historians to artists to chefs, the evidence here is trained experts and this is rare.
The context is great for travelers who want a real deep diving in a topic or place. Whether you are touring the Louvre Museum or a tour of the walking neighborhood like this, you will get a level of details that are not in other rounds. After all, with rounds of up to 3 hours, there is a lot of covered information. In addition, they also have rounds for a full and a half day that you can do in addition to daily trips outside Paris.
