Your Guide to Packing in 2025

Some of the things that package Matt on his trips

What I carry in my bag has changed a lot over the years. Most of this change relates to the fact that I now hold a lot of blogging equipment, but it also reflects that I have learned a lot about packing since I reached the road in 2006 for the first time.

I have learned different packing techniques over the years. I have traveled with large Duffel bags, 60 liters packages, 30 liters packages, load materials, and everything between them. I did everything and in all seasons.

Today, I would like to share this knowledge so that you can be better early because many people always want to know what they must pack on their journey.

Answer?

With the least possible.

Light filling is cliché, but it has a lot of truth. The more I travel, the more I realize that I do not need a lot of things. All I need now is suitable One backpack (For more recommendations from my years of testing backpacks, click here to get my back bags.

I would like to write everything I think I will need it before I go – then cut it into two halves. I always ask myself, “Will I use this enough to justify weight?”

Most of the time the answer is no.

I only take the basics, and if I really need something I did not attend, I bought it on the road. It is not difficult to find the medicine, clothes or umbrella outside.

I also try to stick to the same climate during my trips to avoid having to carry many different types of clothes. I do not want to be Switzios around Thailand! However, the plans can change, and if that happens, I will buy a light jacket or a jacket. I will keep it until it is a burden and then abandon it.

Also, you He can Wash abroad, so love to carry enough clothes for 7-10 days, wash, then repeat. There is no need to bring a lot of things when you can just wash what you have.

As for long Answer what you should pack? Well, below my proposed packing menu – but you must adapt this to your needs.

((Note: This focuses on traveling to a non -winter climate. If you are heading to a prominent place, you will need to adapt accordingly)

  • One dress shirt (to go to a respectable place in the evening)

Note: I am a great fan of Mirino Clubs. You can see a review here.

5. Various

Special advice: Buy a small backpack so as not to tend to excessive package. We would like to fill the empty space unconsciously, so if you have a large bag, it is more likely that you surpass the package so as not to waste space. By getting a smaller backpack, you will have to take the basics only – a very well -working mental trick!
