Before I went to travel for the first time in 2006, I had these expectations in my head based on something other than my imagination and my popular culture.

My journey would be a non -stop adventure full of colorful and exciting people. Crazy things would have happened to me. I will make friends everywhere. I will talk to strangers on buses. The local population was calling me drinks. Initially, it was exciting, as I set my daily work schedule and did things myself. I was so busy in those early days that I forgot that I was alone. It was good – even it was not.

With the passage of days and my tongue forgot what appeared to speak, this excitement was dispelled. I began to yearn for human interaction and companionship.

Suddenly, I was alone – and in the bad way.

Where was the local population that was supposed to show me about them? The wonderful travelers I spend two nights? Once it ran out of things to do, I can no longer hide brutal.

Certainly, I could move to another city, hoping that magic would happen there, and that it was the mistake of the destination and not me.

I started realizing that the only reason that made me alone is because of fear.
