The Charlotte Hornets will be taking on the Detroit Pistons tonight, with the two teams meeting for the second time since the new season started.
Detroit took down the Hornets last week, beating them 97-89 at home. So, for the Hornets, this rematch will be a chance for the team to get some revenge against the Pistons.

Charlotte will be entering the game with a record of 3-4 on the season, with the team having lost three straight. After a strong start, the Hornets have fallen back down to earth this year.
As for the Pistons, they will be coming into the contest with a record of 5-1 on the season, having won two straight games. Detroit is again a top team in the Eastern Conference, giving the Hornets a strong challenge tonight.
Entering the game against the Pistons, the Hornets’ injury report looks fairly clean, with there only being two players on it. Charlotte will be without forwards Kon Knueppel and Grant Williams, both of whom are dealing with hamstring injuries.
Neither player has been able to suit up for the Hornets this season due to the issue, but Knueppel could be returning soon. The second-year star for Charlotte has been missed, and the team is patiently waiting to get him back on the floor.

Against the Pistons, the Hornets will try to make sure that they put together a stronger effort this time around. Charlotte only had two players hit double figures against Detroit last game, and this is an area that will need to be addressed.
Star forward Brandon Miller scored 31 points against the Pistons, adding 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals, while hitting three shots from beyond the arc. But Miller can’t do it alone, especially against a good team like Detroit, and he will need others to step up to help him.
Someone like Naz Reid is going to have to play better in this game, giving the Hornets a boost around Miller. Reid only scored seven points on six shots in the loss last week, and this team needs more from him.
Without Knueppel on the floor yet, others have to find a way to give more scoring to the team next to Miller. This rematch against Detroit will give a nice test to the Hornets, seeing if they can take down a top team in the East.
Tip-off for the game between the Hornets and Pistons is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT/7:30 p.m. ET from Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
