Renegades star Tim Seifert has scored the first century of the BBL season, dispatching the Heat’s bowling cartel to all parts on Monday night.
The Kiwi opening batsmen took some time to get his eye in, but from there went berserk with six sixes and nine boundaries on his way to triple figures.
He now already has more than half the runs he scored in his BBL14 campaign, scoring 200 runs across 10 games last season.

He and Ollie Peake combined for a mammoth partnership, reaching the century mark after only 46 balls.
Seifert now joins Aaron Finch as the only Renegdades players in BBL history to score centuries in Australia’s premier T20 campaign.
“Just the second Renegade to bring up the ton, fine innings from Tim Seifert,” Mark Howard said.
“Gee it meant a bit.”
Meanwhile, on Peake, former Australian coach Darren Lehmann has seen enough, making a big declaration.
“I’ve seen enough this kid will play for Australia,” he said on ABC Grandstand.
Elsewhere, Shaheen Shah Afridi has endured a nightmare start to his BBL campaign.
The Pakistani superstar was unable to finish his third over, bowling three no balls in with Nathan McSweeney needing to finish his six balls.
Afridi had conceded 17 runs in four legal deliveries before McSweeney took over, and was equally dispatched with a four and a single.
