KYIV (Reuters) – Ukrainian Minister of Energy for Ukrainian natural gas production was damaged in a Russian attack on the Central Boltava region in Ukraine overnight.
“Fortunately, there was no losses,” the company said in a statement.

She added that Naftogaz “takes all necessary measures to stabilize gas supply in the Boltava region.”
The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia launched a joint attack, using 19 tourist, ballistic missiles and directed against gas production facilities in the Boltava region.
No missiles were reported.
The regional military administration of Polfta said that nine settlements in the Mirrood area had left without gas.
Russia, which previously focused on missile and drone attacks on the Ukrainian electricity sector, has in recent months increased its attacks on Ukrainian gas storage facilities and production fields.
Underground gas storage facilities are located in Ukraine in the west, while the main productive capacity in the east, in the front line, as well as in the Boltava region.
The state -run gas operator said that Ukraine will increase it will increase the imports of natural gas to more than 16.7 million cubic meters (MCM) on Tuesday from 16.3 MCM on Monday.
Ukraine consumes 110-140 mcum of gas per day in the winter and consumption is almost evenly covered by gas and reserves from storage facilities.
