Prairie Arts Center (416 N. Jeffers) — Artwork by cast metal artist and sculptor Woody Stauffer. The center is open Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Free admission.

Golden Ticket Cinemas, District 177 Mall (1000 S. Dewey) – No Hard Feelings, Indiana Jones and the Dual of Destiny, Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, Sound of Freedom, Insidious: The Red Door, and Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, Part One. Subject to change.

Lincoln Highway RV Park (W. Rodeo Rd.) — Fort Cody Summer Music Series with Strawberry Jam and The Littlest Birds. $4. Bring a lawn chair. 6-9 p.m. Note the location, moved due to weather concerns this week.

Friday, July 14

North Platte Public Library (120 W. 4th) — Prehistoric Pep Rally with Ranger Anthony from Stomp Chomp Roar. For ages four and over. Register to attend at ci.north-platte.ne.us/library/events/. 10:30 a.m.-noon.

Pals Brewery (4520 S. Buffalo Bill) — Paint Your Pet. Minnesota artist group Gray Duck Art takes a picture of your pet and turns it into a paint by number canvas picture. Tickets available at eventbrite.com. 1-5 p.m.

North Platte High School (1220 W. 2nd) — Community health fair. School registration, vaccines, resources & presentations. No charge. Language access provided to non-English speakers. 4-7 p.m.

Venue 304 (304 E. 5th) — Murder Mystery and Mayhem dinner. Guests must find the murderer of a 1920s nightclub owner. $50. $80 for couples. $220 for a table of six. A fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. 6-9 p.m.

Cedar Room (505 N. Dewey) — Cedar Room’s 3rd anniversary street party. With live music by Strings Attached and The Innocent. Free. Bring a lawn chair. 7 p.m.-midnight.
